It's taken 12 years to get here. This is the story of my senior year. I'll talk about my senior year so far, how I feel different, what I like best about being a senior, and my favorite memories from high school. I'll also include pictures and quotes from my friends.

Ahhh...senior year. It's taken so long to get here, and it's going so fast. I thought I'd feel a lot different when I was a senior, but things really haven't changed that much for me, I'm just older than most of the students. In some ways, I wish I wasn't a senior, just because a lot of my friends have already graduated, so every year I have less friends, but...I'm really glad I'm a senior, it means that I'm almost done with high school, and almost to college. I can say that I'm mostly pleased with my high school career(if it can be called that). I've learned a lot of things during high school, not things you can learn in the classroom. I've grown up a lot and changed a lot, in a very good way. There have been bad times, and good times, and inbetween times, so altogether, it's been ok.

Good Times.....
I almost don't want to say it, but, I've actually had some good times during high school. My favorite memories mostly are of times during choir, and on choir trips. Like the time we went to compete at World's of Fun. I stayed in a suite with four other girls (all good friends) in a really nice hotel in Kansas City. In the morning, Anna decided she wanted popcorn for breakfast and put one of the popcorn pouches, provided by the hotel, in the microwave. Well, it must've been a pretty powerful microwave...It hadn't even been two minutes and I noticed smoke pouring out of the microwave. We were all yelling our heads off like insane people, the room smelled horribly awful, and we couldn't stop laughing. It was great. We had a pretty good time that day at World's of Fun too, but that's a long story. I've also had some fun times hanging out with my good friend Melissa (also one of my popcorn burning buddies) and Mrs. A in between classes and after school, talking about everything, watching soaps, laughing like morons. You get the picture. Oh, and Mr. Owen conducting with a flashlight when the power went off, that was pretty interesting. And all those crazy times at Mexican Villa...wooooh! Good times...good times.
