lines 5-8: The lotus blossom awakes under the love of the moonlight. Only then does she
show her face.
lines 9-12: The lotus blossom grows radiant under the moonlight, becoming alive and
feeling love and the pain that comes with it.

“When I Have Fears That I May Cease To Be” by John Keats
p. 803
lines 1-4: When I fear that I may die before I have written all that I want to, before all my
words become books;

or enjoy the power of love that comes easy,

mean nothing.

“Composed Upon Westminster Bridge” by William Wordsworth

lines 6-8: The ships and buildings blend in with the land and the sky, shining in the pure
air.
lines 9-12: Never has the sun’s first light made anything so beautiful. I have never felt a
calm so deep, here by this free river.
lines 13-14: Dear God! All the might of the city seems asleep!
