Every summer for the past four years, I have traveled to Walker, Kentucky with my youth group for mission trips. We spend a week working on the farm that we stay at and in the surrounding community, have devotions, and even go out for some fun a couple of nights. It's always an incredible experience and the best part of my summer.

Carey (our youth sponsor), Neil (our Sunday school teacher), and Curtis at the bowling alley in Corbin, Kentucky. |
Ed and Dave during one of our infamous water gun fights on the bus. We've never told the minister or the church board that we do this, they might not let us use the bus anymore...hehe. |

Curtis scraping paint off a wall to repaint it. The guy who lived there had been in jail for several years for killing someone, but we didn't know that until after we finished the job. |
Curtis, Mary, and my foot hanging out on the bus. We had WAY too much free time on our hands...I mean feet.

Ed, Aaron, and Ben singing at Webb's in Cumberland Gap, Tennessee. Singing at Webb's on Friday night has become one of our traditions of the Kentucky trips. |
The bridge over Stinking Creek that leads to the farm. My first year, we helped rebuild it.

Ed duct-taping Neil. Another one of our infamous traditions. Hey, we have to keep ourselves entertained somehow on that 16 hour long bus ride. |
